- Professor Nir Barzilai, one of the worlds leading age scientists, announced May 11th that a drug that helps people live longer will be available in two years for testing.
- It focuses on the death of cells.
- Some people don't get diseases like cancer and dementia, and Barzilai is studying them to find a "cure for age"
- The pills would be taken once a day starting in you forty's or fifty's.
The world has so many people that I don't think we should try to save everyone that gets past 80. Overpopulation is a big issue, and it isn't being addressed properly. Most scientific article nowadays talk about saving people with diseases and such, but diseases are the earths way of natural selection. If we go against the will of natural selection we will destroy ourselves!! I think that governments should ban drugs that promote longevity. Anyway, how will they test the drugs on humans. if they stop cells from dying, our bodies will like explode with cells and we'll kill ourselves. If I were offered to test this drug I would humbly decline. I don't want to die from it, but i don't want to live so long everyone I know dies either.
